What is fitted joinery?

Fitted joinery, or millwork, literally refers to the furniture that is connecting closely with the building’s main body.

While in a broad sense, fitted joinery includes all furniture that is irremovable after installation, namely:
- fitted wardrobes,
- vanity cabinets,
- minibars & TV panels,
- wall panels,
- door panels & door frames,
- window coves,
- lighting pelmets,
- ceiling trims,
- banquette seating,
- columns, stairs, skirting, etc.

Fitted joinery represents the tailored features of the premises, which are derived from the comprehensive agreement among the general decoration style, the exact function of the building, and all detailed dimensions at site.
